Advert completed!

I have completed my advertisment for my music video!

As for the DigiPack, I used a shot from my video and put it in PhotoShop where I used Filter Gallery and again used 'Dark Strokes' In fact, the picture of the advert is the front cover picture on my DigiPack. I then put it in InDesign, where I changed the color and added in critics and further information about the artist.

Below shows my completed advertisment;

DigiPack completed!

I have finally finished my DigiPack!

The DigiPack consists of 4 pages, with 2 single pages (front and back cover) and 1 double page (lyrics page).

To construct the DigiPack, I took a screen shot via dragging what I want to be used. This can be done my holding down SHIFT, CMD AND 4 on the keyboard. Then I put that picture into PhotoShop, where I editing the picture by putting it into Filter Gallery;

 I then chose which effect which I wanted to use, and in this case, I chose 'Dark Strokes';

Futhermore, I then imported my image onto InDesign, where I would constructed my DigiPack.

Below show my finished DigiPack;

Progress - other editing techniques

As well as all the cuts that I used, I constructed many other editing techniques.
Firstly, I used the effect 'Wind Blur' on the clip where the couple kiss under the tree - show below;

Futhermore, I used one other effect where I brought the picture of the clip in, focusing on the artist - shown below;

This effect was used when this clip came up again, throughout the video.

Moreover, one of my favourite part of the video, I used the 'tracking' editing technique, which focuses on the couple, showing all angles;

Shot 3

Finally, at the end of my video, I decided to put in a 'Cross Fade/Dissolve' to come to a conclusion and to make the ending more dramatic - shown below;

Progress - the title

For the title of the song and artist, I decided to put it within a black space where no footage had been composed. Initially, I was going to put the title right at the start of the clip, on the opening scene. However, I thought that this idea would work better. Below show the title, and where it fits in, in my music video (in purple).

Progress - cuts (editing)

As the song has many quick beats, I decided that I would use the cutting editing technique where the beats can be heard. Below show where I have decided to put in the cuts;

Picture A

Picture B

Picture C

Picture D

 Some of the cuts vary within the beats of the song. For example in picture C, there are 4 beats, thus I have composed 4 quick cuts.  Moreover, some cuts are longer than other, due do the timings of the beats (e.g Picture D)

Progress - clips

Firstly, though out about 2/3 days of filming, I managed to film 66 clips;

This gave me a wide range of footage, of which I could play about with and manage which clips I would construct in my video. In total, I recorded around 55-60 mins worth of footage.

Pictures of filming locations

From my music video, I filmed in the following areas; Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Oxford Street and Aldenham School.
